Verification of “Performance” option

I’m in the process of purchasing my first Tesla S. I found 2015 model S. A dealer listed it as Performance model, however photos clearly show that it says 85D, not P85D. I contacted the dealer asking for clarification and was informed that yes, it is a Performance model. Is there any way to verify it?

Is it possible that it is a P option but doesn’t say on the car?
Any ideas?

The screen displays the model designation when you press the "T" Tesla logo at the top center. I think it's more likely that the dealer is clueless/dishonest than this is a Performance model without the P badge. Early on there were plenty of people on TMC looking to put "P" badges on their base cars just to look cool. I wouldn't trust the badge alone. The screen should be more trustworthy. You might also be able to find "Insane" or other Performance mode options in the settings.
