Version 9 pre-release

For those who are using the pre-release version 9 of the latest major software upgrade I would like to ask a simple question.

It has been rumored that this new user interface does away with split screens. For example being able to see both the navigation as well as the media screen or browser at the same time.

Is this true?

I am asking this because I am scheduled for a long trip in my Model S in about 2 weeks and I am trying to gain enough objective information whether or not to accept this update or wait until I get home to update it.

It's still sort of split screen, the navigation is now always visible on top with all other apps staying at the bottom if active.

Are any of you have tuneIn account, able to login and see your favs? I was never able to login with all the updates so far, hope in v9 it works. thanks in advance.
