I have my delivery scheduled for Thursday but I have very little faith that will happen. The numbers on the site are all wrong I have told the ISA now three times what the correct numbers should be. And now it looks like they are going to owe me $5000 at delivery. Lol. They are applying payments I never made $25k etc. If I get my car as it stands with these numbers. I might be the first $35k model 3 owner only because they discounted it 40ish percent. Look at the screenshot. This being said I assume the contract will be wrong on Thursday and they won’t give me the car. Has anyone had these issues or am I just reading too much into it. The ISA said that I would be taking delivery and not to worry about what the site says. I said ok.....
The other thing that is crazy about this situation is that the car was supposed to be originally delivered on 7/16 but got re-scheduled to 7/26 (logistics) and I got the final MVPA which I signed the week before that, and I didn't pay attention to the in between numbers and just looked at the bottom number and that $25k payment that I never made is in there. They counter signed this wrong document which I told my ISa right after I noticed it the very next day, and sent it back to me. But I don't see a copy of that on the site though, but I have it in digital form.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised if it got delayed again. Lot's of delays and weird things going on right now, but hopefully it gets there in a reasonable amount of time. I think I've got you beat, mine says Tesla owes me $58,000: Texas Hold Up!
Well I just logged into my account again and now it gives me a thing to actually correct any of the sections. Delivery supposed to go down in less then 48hrs now. I made corrections and now it says a specialist will contact me within 48 hours. This is not looking any better...
I had that same "correct any of the sections" prompt a couple days ago. Finally got my delivery associate on the phone and he pitched a new appointment for tomorrow at 11am. Good news is my account shows that as well, so I'm hopeful.
Wow just got my contract to sign again and it’s wrong again the same contract from the 7th. I’m about to just sign it and have them counter it which I know they will since I’m pretty certain they don’t look and get a $25k discount on the car. I feel like I’ve done more then enough to get this right with them. I’ve emailed this at least 5 times now to my ISA. And put it on the correction and they just sent me the same contract. Facepalm.
Eek! My pickup is on Thursday and I’ve not got a contract yet. Advisor said he expects it Thursday morning... Paying cash, so wonder if that minimumizes the effort?
I doubt it since there is no getting away with that contract business. The issue is with the contracts at this point from what I can tell.
Ok you got me beat. They only "owe" me $8k. Anyhow I called the delivery place and they assured me that it was fine and that they will correct that afterwards, and that I will get my car tomorrow. I'm starting to get excited now but trying not to get my hopes too high.
You know, if Tesla pays me up front, with a low-interest car loan, I might take that deal! Plus, 6 days into ownership, they haven't even tried to draw on the loan yet. The downside is, I still can't use the damn app or phone key.... It worked on day 1 until about 9pm, then hasn't worked since.
Ouch. I had heard there was normally a delay getting it activated but I'd not heard of regression like that?
I emailed them again this AM for the 2nd time (first time was monday, and i also called in on tuesday) and magically it started working about an hour later! hopefully it stays there for good. For the first time ever, the car shows up in my Tesla account, which is cool, and they didn't charge me for the supercharging on Saturday back when the car wan't associated with my account. I think the issue was in docs and pulling money from my bank. I don't know if they've gotten paid yet, but something's changed.
Yep got it. They did the contract correct right there on the spot. I was in and out in 40 minutes. Car looks great a little tiny paint blemish on the top besides that it’s perfect.
