(Video) HELP- Sound from front!

EDIT- It ONLY happens when the wheel is completely straight. Any slight turn on the wheels, it doesn’t do it.

Hey everyone, I have a model S and I’ve sold the S and purchased a X but there is a noise coming from the front and seems like it’s coming from something rotating. The buyer and myself have both sat down together and watched videos on what it could be, and came to the conclusion that it was a swaybar links as many videos had the same sound. We’ve replace both sway bar links and It’s still here. Can anyone who has any knowledge of this sound give me some general information on what it could be?

If there is no noise when the steering is engaging then it could be slop in the steering rack. With the car on a lift you can shake parts, wheels until you find it.

Do you have air suspension? If so it kind of sounds like a rattle noise made by the spring modules. If so, then replacing them only fixes the noise for a short time and then it is back.

So if the wheel is straight and tap the brakes, it also replicates the sound.
