Workaround is starting the scatchpad easteregg that will occupy the whole screen so that the MCU is not rendering the nav maps. If you then start the webbrowser it works.
Looks like they prio-ed the nav screen that eats all processing power.

Do you have MC1 or MC2? I'm thinking no one with MC2 can use Tesla Waze ATM with the latest firmware

Uh, have MC1 ad v.9 8.5. Latency is an issue. Although much improved since the last update. They say 12.11 improves the browser. Lets hope so. I have been killing them with "browser locked" bug reports!

Interesting. Did it work for you on 2019.12? Or did you skip over that firmware straight to 12.1.1?

I believe it also worked for 2019.12.1 as I use Teslawaze often. I only had 2019.12.1 for about 4 days until I received 219.12.1.1

Wow. This is very strange. I just tried it randomly and it worked... Still on 2018.12.

I have MCU1 with 219.12.1.1, and it's still the old browser, with the same old issues
I noticed that things are a lot more stable in the last firmware versions. It was usable on my MCU1 car, and now I just got a new raven model with MCU2, and its great. I have one request @ericwol though: would it be able to implement trajectory speed control in the web app ? Waze shows it in the app, so the data must be there. In Europe, more and more speed controls are being replaced by trajectory controls cameras , so this would be very useful !

Do you mean average speed cameras? This is where your speed is measured over a number of speed cameras that use known distance and time per car registration.
If so, the simplest implementation may be to have different warning for speed camera pop up.
My ideal would be to track my average speed within the zone, though the website update frequency might adversely impact that for shorter areas under this control

Waze stores the average speed cameras info on their map road segments. Our maps does not come from Waze. It is from MapBox

Yeah it’s not been good. And for us it had improved significantly after the last update we received. Not super but much more usable. But our expectations are not really that high right now ;-)
Interesting to hear we experiencing the same thing.
I think @ericwol is hoping things would somehow stabilize with the operating system before putting a lot effort into updating TeslaWaze.
Its a great thing to have and one thing I’d pay to keep. Game’s meh..... Give us TeslaWaze.
