Viewing vehicles along side in dash

When I test drove a model S a year and a half ago, i could see oncoming traffic approaching in adjacent lanes on the dash next to my vehicle. But that is not currently visible in in my AP2 Model S 75D. I also do not see any discussion about that being re-introduced. That would sure be a welcome feature. When auto-steer is engaged, the adjacent lanes clearly show; and when approaching a traffic light cars ahead are also visible, but not adjacent vehicles. Any insights as to if/when to expect are welcome. Thanks.

This was present in AP1 but not (yet) in Ap2. I do wish it will come back as it gives a much higher driving confidence if you know what the car sees and not see. I haven’t heard much about this from Tesla, so something must be preventing it from working well enough to be there.
