My guess is that for every car that finished inspection by Friday, they are offering a delivery date of this week.
For the rest of us, we will probably get a date next Saturday for the week after.

My DS sent me an e-mail today (the first in quite awhile) saying mine might be ready by the end of the week.

Awww snaps! Just got an update to My Tesla page. Expected delivery time has changed from "Late March - April" Estimated delivery date to "May 5 - May 12"

Can anyone attest to the accuracy of these new within a week time frames?

Getting a lil giddy. Tesla, you better not be toying with my emotions!

I hope I'll be luckier tomorrow. As a matter of reference, I reserved my X on May 7th, 2013. I'm pretty sure this is the longest I've waited for anything ever.

"Our team has completed the pre-delivery inspection and found an item that did not meet our standards. They detected some road noise and will be addressing. Of course, I will keep tabs to make sure we get this turn around as soon as possible!"

gotta stay positive for this weekend still.

Here's what I don't get. According to my DS, my 90D VIN 2485 just entered production this week. Expect delivery some time in May. Seems like very large gaps in VINs being delivered. Just hope they get it right.
