Looks like at least $60K when all said and done for a salvage vehicle. I'd choose a like new used 2008 for $70K instead. Seems like a lot of salvage vehicles for the total production run. Is this just the nature of a high performance sports car or is there something common to driver error going on here?

I doubt it as the Roadster is very easy and predictable to drive. That said with a car that goes from0-60 in less than 4 seconds if not careful you can get into trouble.
