Thanks for the info. I'm being a bit impatient, it's only been 2 weeks since being configured but with other people configuring at the same time and taking delivery this Saturday to the same San Diego location as well it's a bit frustrating. Not sure I should be bugging my Sales rep yet.
What color did you get? Curious if there is a delay in certain colors, perhaps more people lined up for the new ones as they come off the line...im still waiting on my VIN as well and configured on the 23rd.
Update: Ordered dec 31, after invite to config showed up dec 24. I’m scheduled for delivery tomorrow morning in Marina del Rey.
VIN 29XX assigned 1/5/18. Invited 12/22 and configured the same day.

Black. I'd think that would be one of the most common...
My order still has financing sitting as Pending (everything else is completed), because I indicated I was using outside financing (doesn't seem like it, though; I'd think most are financing some amount). I wonder if that's the issue. Not sure how to mark it completed though...

How would I contact a sales/delivery rep? I've not spoken to a soul about this the whole time; it's all online...
Logged on again and it changed to 284X. Makes more sense to me.

I was able to complete the order yesterday. I'm in VA. I got a VIN within a few hours... 36xx - Metallic Blue. Can't wait...
Man, sounds like they made a mistake and assigned you my car. I’m in VA too with a Metallic Blue on order...sadly I don’t have a VIN yet

On my way yesterday for delivery of my 20xx Model 3, I saw a delivery truck with 4 Model 3s heading towards my Tesla Store. By the time I was inspecting my car charging at the Supercharger, they had unloaded the 4 Model 3s. So when I was headed back inside I walked by all the Model 3s and the VINs ranged from 15xx and 35xx.

It was in on My Tesla main account page. the Model 3 now shows up with VIN# bellow.

Thanks for the info! Mine still shows my reservation number. I’ll attempt to be more patient waiting for this car than the last one, but that will be a challenge.

Are you guys looking at getting a protective film put on the car ? Got some quotes on SunTek and XPEL... looking a $1800 to $5000 for full wrap... ugh.Man, sounds like they made a mistake and assigned you my car. I’m in VA too with a Metallic Blue on order...sadly I don’t have a VIN yet
