After refusing prior delivery earlier this month due to build quality, we were matched with a new VIN, told we could take delivery over this past weekend. It just so happened that we were not available over the weekend, so we got an appointment for tomorrow, 12/22, 11 AM.
Earlier today the VIN changed (from 82xxx to 87xxx), now delivery is a range, 12/22-12/28.
Confused here, what happened?! Did they give it to someone else? Was it defective? What if we could've picked it up yesterday? Weird. Now we need to go again through paperwork with the bank and insurance company.
Has anyone else had a similar VIN switch just before delivery?
