Vinyl Wrap - Any Issues with Sensors?

Hello All, I am thinking about vinyl wrapping my Model X and was curious whether anyone has had issues with the sensors after wrapping. The shop assured me that it won’t, but it just seems like it could have an impact being that you’re basically putting a vinyl sheet over the sensors.

Normally the wrap is cut around the sensors then u will have no issues

I am sure there are some people that have used vinyl wrapping to change the color of their cars. Wouldn't that entail covering those sensors on the bumpers?

Yes, I believe they are covering the sensors and was curious whether anyone has had issues after this was done.

shouldnt have an issue. they already paint over the sensor from factory to match the car color...

Vinyl wrapping over the sensors shouldn't be an issue.

Only time tat you run into an issue with sensors is the radar/emergency braking sensor behind the front bumper. Chrome vinyl blocks the signal, so any colored chrome or laminated chrome material. Normal vinyl is fine for the parking sensors and radar sensors
