We just returned from 3 days in the Nevada City/Grass Valley area, having driven up from Sunnyvale. The closest SC is Folsom, at that is 50 miles 1-way to NC. That means it is hard to drive around and get back to Folsom on the one charge.
But GOOD NEWS. We stayed at the top B&B in NC, the Emma Nevada House. Not only is it a great B&B, but after talking with me the owners/managers have begun the process of putting a 220v plug in the parking area so we can charge overnight. It will take a bit to get it done, but they've already contacted an electrician. This would be the only EV charging location in Nevada City (nothing on Plugshare or Chargepoint), so we can enjoy the area without range issues.
