VMS dead - help needed !!!

i do have a 2011 2.5 roadster here with a defective VMS.

fortunately i had a working VMS from a 2009 2.0 junker with the same SW, so the roadster is running again BUT with the wrong VN in the VMS

this actually doesn't sound too bad as the car is running perfect with the other VMS but is getting some errors permanently like "suspicious milage on odo" etc.

before you recommend me to consult my friendly SeC: they CANNOT help (!)

does anybody know a solution for this ?

please pm, THANKS !

If you put more than a few miles on the car, you’ll likely have a permanent mileage tamper warning. The VMS needs to be reprogrammed with the correct VIN and mileage. Only the SC can do that, and only someone with very specialized knowledge would know how to extract the current mileage from a different module in the car to code it to the replacement module. Service centers are likely only equipped to code new parts, not to reprogram used parts.
