voice command issues

For the last week, my voice command function activates unprompted, repeatedly. I cannot stop it. It beeps over and over again, and often times, will not stop. It's incredibly frustrating. Has anyone else had this problem? is it associated with a recent software update? Any tips on fixing it?

It could be that the button that activates voice command is sticking. Try squirting some electronic contact cleaner around the button.
