Voice Commands for USB Music?

I think the answer to this is no (see linked post), but is there a way to control the USB music via voice command?

We've got young kids who constantly want to change the album being played, so it would be nice if we could just use a voice command, say, to "play Encanto/Frozen/Moana on USB," or something to that effect. When I tried to use the voice command, I got steaming options, but none for the USB.

Is there a way to ”Play USB” music from the center console USBC port?…or do you have to Play it thru the USB port in the glovebox? (MY 2022)

Yes - while we can play through the center console, in my mind, I believe it may be beneficial, and safer, if we could use a voice command to play a certain artist/album/playlist, rather than taking my eyes off the road (even momentarily).

I think I’m missing something….I have my Apple Music on a usb and I plug it into the center console and I’ve also tried the glove box usb and that doesn’t work. What should I expect when I plug the drive in? It appears that it’s not recognized….or it could be a user error in not understanding the process and what to look for!?!?

If you mean your iTunes music library I don't believe that is supported via USB in the Tesla Model Y. I can play MP3 files, folders via USB. I have only been able to get basic voice commands such as play, pause, stop, go back (to the beginning of a track.), skip to work.
