Why are these so popular in 19 and not in 20? Big wheels aren’t usually my thing but I kinda like the size of the stock 20s..

20's are really too big for this car if you live anywhere with less-than-perfect roads. Last thing I want to do is damage a TE37 somehow... Ignoring the replacement cost for the moment, I could literally make a baby faster than I can get a replacement wheel.

Makes sense. I was a little concerned with the stock 20" uberturbines but so far so good. Just curious why there wasn’t a model 3 spec 20".

You gain a more comfortable and compliant ride when it comes to 19's as they allow you run a beefier sidewall; and open up even more tire sizes/options!
