Fisker does have some arrangement with GM where a lot of their parts (including their Range Extender) are standard GM faire. My guess is that GM might do something with Fisker in the future, but don't want to dampen their Volt press by making a deal with Fisker before the Volt is out the door.

Along the same lines, Fisker may not wish to make a public deal with any of the competitors to their major supplier until after they are up and running.
