Volt and it's Vauxhall and Holden counterparts seem to be another good sign that the car is the real deal.

as we can see from the image gallery below, there aren't any real changes to the Volt's sheetmetal either.

Either it is a real deal, or they are trying to pull the bait and switch on every government in the developed world.

It is interesting his comments about the $7500 Federal rebate, talking about how the first 200,000 Volts will receive it.

Is that assuming that there will be no other vehicles receiving that rebate at the same time?

He didn't exactly say ~that~. I think he said "first 200,000 GM vehicles will be eligible for *a* tax credit", & the Volt will qualify for the highest amount ($7500), and all of the "Gen 1" Volts should get a credit." What I took that to mean is that 200,000 GM rebates should be enough to cover all the "gen 1 Volts" and any other cars they make that qualify for some sort of credit.
I don't think he said specifically that 200,000 Volts will get the credit.
