The front in particular seems to be the worst angle. Hoping this isn't the final design. The side profile would look better with a more SUV stance, ie 1-2 inches higher, right now it looks pretty wagon-like. Hopefully those will be fixed otherwise I'll be waiting for whatever the Audi version of this becomes
A lot of current Tesla owners like me used to drive a Prius, but I think the Prius was actually more boring than offensively ugly like this is,
Volkswagen ID.6 Spied With Minimal Camo - Looks Like A Long Wheelbase ID.4 Depending on the price, anyone think this could be a big seller and cut into the Model X sales? Any chance Tesla comes out with something that can compete with this on price?
In Norway at least, yes. The e-tron already passed X in total sales, after just a bit under 2 years on the market. VW is a strong brand here, and a more conventional layout with optional roof rack for a roof ski box will be a big selling point. The 7 seats are not the biggest feature though.
I am assuming price will be a lot less than the Model X as well. Bring up a good point about the roof rack...that might be a deal breaker for us as well.
Yes, agree. The ID.6 is probably MEB underpinnings, same as ID4 (and ID.3.) These are selling from $40.000 here, with full spec awd probably at $55.000. Even with a bigger battery it will be well below the X LR+ price of $90.000.
