WA residents can finally buy extended warranties?

Saw something posted here: Service plans referencing WA residents can buy direct at a service center now.

To clarify if I wanted to buy new and extend the 4 year 50,000 mile new car warranty is it possible to do that now being in WA?

Yes, that is correct.

For Model S and X, anyway. Roadster owners that were promised the ability to buy an extended warranty years ago are still out of luck.

So, for SW Washington where our service center is Portland, does this mean an in person trip to Seattle to purchase the service plan(s)?
