Did anybody that reserved in WA after April 6th get a VIN? I only saw a couple of VIN assignments and both were for sport wheels.

I got my invite on 4/15, configured same day, and got VIN on 4/18. Sport wheels. Sounds like the aeros are backlogged.

I just checked the spreadsheet again and I saw at least one (non-WA!) delivery scheduled for May 25th, and another one for June 1st! The June 1st one is questionable since it does not have a VIN, but the May 25th one is legit.

I am starting to get worried

Maybe those non-WA cars are scheduled for later because the Washington deliveries will be prioritized... I have to keep the dream alive!

Of course not. But I am hoping that they will consider the expiring program when prioritizing deliveries for May. As of now I still think many of us will manage to take delivery before the 31st.

100% would be unreasonable.

But, some level of prioritization? It's happened before.

Back in 2015 the 100% sales tax exemption was ending, and that pushed me to order. I got mine with plenty of buffer to spare, but I do remember Tesla made WA deliveries a priority.

This time around I didn't take any chances on it, and chose to defer. Where I'm trying to decide if I'll trade in my Model S (which is worth almost as much as the 3), and thereby remove the need for the tax exemption. Or if I'll simply sell it privately once the AWD version is ready for me to order.

No, I just expect that they deliver on the promise of 3-6 weeks, given the circumstances.

especially since Canadian non-owner reservations from MID JUNE 2016 have been invited, and my WA first 24 hour reservation (overnight 3/31-4/1) is still waiting to be invited...

I have a friend who accelerated his delivery date by upgrading to 19" wheels.

Although I think it does make sense to prioritize Canada after WA to keep the federal incentives going one more quarter. Ideally it would be all WA orders getting filled prior to end of May and all Canadian orders getting filled prior to end of June.

Though Portland is already topped out with just Model S and X deliveries and service. The staff at the PDX service center have said there is talk of a second service center coming in the next year or two.

Also, I noticed in the spreadsheet that the average lead time from configuring to delivery for WA State has increased from 31 days to 41 days

Finally received my VIN. Ordered on 4/10, VIN on 5/1. Red / aero / fully loaded.

It took 21 days.
