This means my hidden vin shows a 2020 model? I’m guessing they are building 2020 models? Doesn’t necessarily mean it’s built in 2020?? @Vedaprime also shows the C being duel motor performance. (That was mentioned in Facebook group)

The L does mean 2020. That’s weird. Model years really don’t mean much in the Tesla world.

The ranges don't mean much anymore because the L means its the 2020 model year, which basically lets Tesla reset the counter. So they could be producing anything basically.

Wonder if they have vin range subsets that they pick from each year

My white interior was delivered back in september and the vin (like all white interiors up to that point) was 5171

Me too eased it down a lot for the same reason. Didn't mean to. It's 9PM on Friday night. Could have been there since afternoon.

Now I just from time to time press that Chrome extension just to admire it like Gollum and his precious.
