Waiting for Tax Credit to come back?

i have a MYP on reserve, the 100$. if this tax credit passes, would you think that i need to make a new order or just continue with the existing order to claim the tax credit since its not retroactive.

I think it will count when you take delivery, not when you reserved.

I believe your talking about global production. It won’t last long, but probably more than a year.

Global production will exceed a million. US sales from Freemont and Austin will easily exceed the 400,000. Whether the limit is reached in 2021 depends on the date of enactment. Austin production will make it happen very fast in 2022 if pushed too far ahead.

With Texas, it won't be hard to reach 500k production for US market alone.

They barely made 500k in 2020, globally, 2x sounds amazing for 2021 but I just don't see it happening. Texas isn't even 25% complete, the assembly line for the CT and Semi are only conceptualized because they space to build them in is not completed. As a TSLA share holder I'm happy to be wrong.

2021 - 550,000 Shanghai capacity, 550,000 Fremont capacity plus whatever makes it from Berlin mid year and Austin near end of year. US Sales will be most of Freemont plus whatever makes it from Austin. Exceeding 400,000 Us sales even allows for some down time, perhaps to convert Model 3 to giga castings.
