Waiting Room: Model X 7 Seat ONLY

I've been lurking in these forums for a while but first time posting. Just wanted to share that I received my VIN this morning and then scheduled for home delivery later this week. I'd prefer to inspect at the SC but they said they are only doing home deliveries. Prior to this morning, the EDD was July 1-22. They said the car is already at the SC so I'm tempted to drive by and see if it's already on the lot that I can inspect it.

MVPA says its got 15 miles on it

I'm in Orange County, CA.

I'm paranoid that it's a reject seeing as I've just been assigned the VIN and it's already at the SC.

It's just a drive to Fremont for Bay Area people. Go over any time after your appointment time during the day. There are lines of new cars. Kind of neat to see.

Tesla called saying that my car ve early and i took delivery yesterday! I have been very busy so i didn't post until now. There are some minor issues like panels gaps, one misalignment and like 4 seats that have crinkles. Overall, the car is amazing and insane!!!! Ask me any question and i will try my best to respond. A couple things i noticed is that the X badge at the enterance of the rear seats gets dirty really fast with footprints. The screen also gets pretty dusty fast. The yoke took me only like 15 minutes driving to get used to, now it feels normal. I just had a trip to LA and back (around one hour) and it was a perfect ride!! The first two pictures are pictures i'm proud of, but the rest are the issues that i found. It was super easy to make a service appointment with the app. It's worth the wait guys your tesla is coming soooon!!!!

So if there are issues as in the photos, is the SC ready to take care of all them and how long out is the service date?
Picking up mine on Wed and will certainly be going there with a flash light for inspection

Just took delivery of model x refresh few days ago for 7 seaters. Has anyone experienced this? This seat is dead. Cannot fold back even manual. Press the button behind the seat but not hearing anything.

Button behind the seat is for ingress/egress for 3rd row. If you want the seat to fold down, you lift the lever on the side. If you want the seat to move forward/backward, you lift the lever on the bottom of the seat.

I tried, its dead. Couldnt move up or down or fold back. Could not slide the seat too.

the x is so different than any other car. there is stuff that i thought didn’t work, but turns out i didn’t know what i was doing. much better to really study or go over the car along with the owners manual, imo. some details like auto open/close the garage i’m still trying to setup correctly.

Congratulations! A Bay area VIN! How exciting! Can I ask if you fir saw the VIN on your app? Would you mind taking a screenshot and sharing (covering the important infos) to show where the VIN would be at? I have the same EDD range and I'm like checking every minute, on the app and on the main account page. haha.

Have driven the car for 10 days! Its an amazing car, such a big change from the ‘18 Legacy that I had! Got power frunk installed by Yahasun, they were in town last week, so amazing, don’t know why they just wont make it that way stock! Its soft close and opens and closes with fob app and dash board! Amazing aftermarket. Also, i think the under trunk in the back got bigger, was able to fit my city select stroller and two city select seats without any issue, also, was the cover removable before coz now i can completely remove it and honestly its way better! the power frunk, the under trunk back, the back seat entertainment as well as the falcon wing doors makes this car such an amazing mom car!

Thanks for honest reviews!! I’m also thinking about to install auto frunk as a ‘MUST’ thing whenever I got the car. What is difference between Hanshow’s and Yahasun’s? Also, if you can provide the link where you got the auto frunk kit, that would be wonderful.

I dont know exactly whats the difference except Yahasun, they came and install it, i chose then coz im not so good at installing.
