New Estimated Delivery Date: July 22-July 25Just noticed in my app that my delivery date got moved up
Was: Estimated delivery July 31-September 4
Now: July 19-August 6
They added the option to upload proof of insurance, so I did. They also offered me to pay in full for the car.
I giggled. Who the hell would pre pay for a car, any car, but especially at this price sight unseen?

Not news but an anecdote.
Rented a model s 2022 long range on Turo and got to play with the yoke and new interior.
Tesla has really improved their quality. His car was immaculate, no creaks, rattles, panel gaps.
Very nice car. Even though it wasn’t a plaid it was very quick and fun to drive. Kind of felt my old model 3.

the plaid is stupid fast, you will enjoy. the car is worth the wait, especially since you'd wait substantially more for LR vs plaid.
Omg I just noticed I have a VIN!! Is f352 good? Bad? Do I have the swivel screen?
All indications are you will have the swivel. I know I do, and mine is a 345 (June build)
Awesome! I’m excited. Can’t wait until more of us have our deliveries approach. It will be interesting reading the delivery posts.
Got a new EDD range 7.31 - 8.21...
On 7.2 I changed to Plaid - got an October 2022 EDD and then that moved to 8.8 - 9.19. Seems like a good sign the range is narrowing.

EDD changed this morning from July 19 - Aug 7 to Sept 3 - Oct 15. Plaid white/white 20”.EDD changed from July 10-Aug 14 to July 24-Aug 28
Changing the order exterior car color from Black to White appears to have restored the original EDD. The original order was white.

Rented a Turo plaid X, mostly to see the white seats in person. They look really nice but I still have pause about my order. Especially since the Turo (lender?) pointed out a previous renter already stained the white seat in the back. Looks like he tried to get it out but couldn’t.
Not sure, I’ll ask on pickup. He seemed hesitant about loaning it out so I did t want to scare him more lol.
probably thought you were going to make a viral youtube video of it getting some hangtime at highspeeds. lol
