Wall Charger/EVSE stopped working with 2020.16.2.1 SW update

After my M3 downloaded and installed the 2020.16.2.1 SW update yesterday I'm no longer able to charge with my wall mount Aerovironment EVSE. The wall charger worked fine earlier in the day (before the SW update) and continues to work fine with my Prius Plug-in Hybrid.

When I connect the wall charger to my M3 I hear relays click on and off about 3 times and the phone app bounces between "Starting to charge" and "Charging".status and the light at the car's connector changes from blue to green to blue, etc. The car then appears to stop attempting to communicate with the EVSE and puts a message on the display indicating the charger has a problem.

I suppose it could be coincident timing that the EVSE suddenly stopped working right after the SW update but I'm wondering if anyone else has seen something similar.

Perhaps try to plug in to a public L2 charger nearby?

The lights on the wall connector convey information about the problem that the charger is having. Count the number of red blinks.

If no red blinks, post a screenshot of the warning on the car's screen.

M3 charges fine with an external commercial charger & J1772 adapter.

The leds on myEVSE don't indicate any problem and it continues to charge my other car without problem.

Just get a service appt.
