Wall charger price just dropped after purchase

I bought a Wall Connector 3 weeks ago, and since then the price has dropped 20%! I could return it and buy a new one, but they charge a 15% restocking fee, which means I'd save just $25, rather than the actual price difference of $120 (Canadian prices - was $630, now $510)

Just: Grrrr.

Did you try contacting their support and asking for a price match? Something tells me Tesla of all companies won’t do it but might be worth a shot.

They will most likely price match, especially if the price dropped before it shipped. Even if they won't, give them a threat of return and they'll probably price match anyway.

The same thing happened to me. I emailed support and they responded quickly. They will price match and issue a refund for the difference in 3-5 business days.

Wall connectors have a 60 day return policy, so you could try. Can’t hurt to send an email and see what you get.

I purchased it for $700 in February. Just be happy that you got the mobile connector included.

They were probably able to drop the price since they make more money when selling the car without the connector

Yup, I'm using it to charge as we speak. I'll let everyone know what I hear from Tesla.

Same happened to me, and I'm in Canada like you OP.

I sent them an email and they replied it wasn't standard practice but that they would issue a refund. I had bought it a bit over a week before the price increase and it was delivered just a few days before, so they might have a cutoff for matching the new price.

Well, 4 days ago I got a "we submitted a request for price adjustment" email, and to wait 7-10 business days for processing and refund. So far, so good!
