Median home price in Walla Walla is around 250k. I grew up there and the scenery is as advertised.... a bit too isolated for my liking but it's not a bad place to raise a family.

I spent many Summer breaks in Walla Walla. Both my maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as aunts and uncles and cousins lived there. I used to go with my grandparents across the border into Oregon for shopping (no sales tax). There is no income tax in Washington, so it was a win-win!
