    Hello there,

When I had my MY wrapped at Auto Detailing Shop in Santa Clara, CA, they didn't put the Dual Motor letters back on. Said they would not stick well (I was ok with that).

Someone posted on June 8th on the Tesla Model Y Facebook page saying "Good news! the newer vin Model Y doesnt have holes under the T! You can now debadge" and posted an awful photo without the adhesive being completely removed to show that the holes are really gone. Can anyone confirm this?

Edit: I commented asking for an update. He said hes worked on 5 Model Y's so far and newer built Y's 100% no holes in front and rear.

I just picked up a Model Y today and there's no holes under the rear badge. Apparently there was a scratch on the rear T badge so the Service Dept debadged it before I picked it up. Here's a pic of it in the Tesla lot right before the plates went on. Hoping there's no holes under the front but waiting for someone else to confirm first.

The latest rounds of the Model Ys are back to regular emblems, no holes.

Really nothing. If you want the emblem back on I suggest you buy one directly from Tesla, that's what we do.

The black paint looks amazing! Have to figure out if I want to go with the stormtrooper look or black/black.

Does anyone have a part number for a Model Y Frunk emblem? I need a new one after the original one wasn’t able to be put back on after having PPF put on. I cannot reach anyone at the local Tesla Service Center. I don’t know if they have them in stock or I need to order but don’t want to drive there if they don’t have them in stock. If I can order it online that would be preferred. Does anyone know if they come with plastic pins to fit in holes or if it is just a flat “no hole” design? There seems to be possibility of both.

The part number is 1494351-00-C. That's for the Model Y front emblem with the pegs for the holes. If it doesn't have the holes punched in the hood simply snap off the pegs (super easy because they are just Krazy glued on)

    Good luck!!

thanks. I did a google search and nothing shows up. If only Tesla would just answer their phone and tell me they had it in stock.
