Wanted: Refreshed 60 Supercharging Data

Not sure what the OP was after, but I'd be curious to know if the 60 is able to charge faster to 100% given that it is really a 75 kwh battery or if the software still limits the rate of charge as it approaches '100%'

That's a great question and something I am very curious about myself.

That's what I was after. And the answer which I received via PM was yes indeed. Final amps was 108 at 100%. Charge time of 29min from 43%-100%. That's quick for a 60.

Here's the latest charging data from my new 60D at 80%. Highest I've seen yet. 184a at 80%. 40 min exactly to charge from 12% to 100%.

I talked to a Product Specialist in Chicago yesterday. He confirmed that the SC profile should be the same from 0 to 200 miles for 60 kWh and 75 kWh models. Still would like to see some data though.
When I started a supercharge @ 52 miles remaining I saw ~96Kw (300A+ @ 324V). Total charge time ~15 minutes, total distance added ~ 60 miles (52 miles to 111 miles). The end time and miles are from memory on this one. Does anyone know how to pull the logs? I'd love to have those generally.

However, when I started it @ 131 miles it started @ ~83Kw (247A @ 335W) and then continuously dropped off ending @ 191 miles and drawing 57Kw (163A @ 350V). Total charge time 14 minutes. Total distance added ~ 60 miles (131 miles to 191 miles).

With the 60D model, are you seeing the 218~ rated range on a full charge?

Now two weeks in, it has crept up to 220 on a full charge. Though the car did scold me for fully charging too many times in a row. I'm hoping this is just because it doesn't realize it actually has the 75kwh battery and can fully charge more than other battery variants.

Great! Now I can expect the same with MX 60D.

Just did my first Supercharge in my software limited 60D. We arrived at 18% and charged for 40 minutes. The car was predicting that we'd need to charge for 40 minutes. The MyTesla app buzzed at me after about 32 minutes to say that the car was ready. I did not see results anything like @MikingCO. My rate peaked at 100 kW at around 50% SOC according to TeslaLog & then began dropping.
  • 60% - 86 kW
  • 70% - 73 kW
  • 80% - 55 kW
  • 90% - 41 kW
@MikingCO was still getting 64 kW at 80%.Hopefully future Supercharges will be faster. I do have Range Mode turned on. Would that have an impact?

When we arrived at the Supercharger we were the only car there. When we left there were two other cars there, a Model S & a Model X. The Model X fans were running really fast. Is that too cool the HVB?
