Warranty extension

Anyone think Tesla will come out with a prepaid warranty extension? We are going to be at around 10,000 miles in just 5-6 months of owning the car, so if we keep at this pace, we will be off warranty in just 2.5 years. We'd like to extend it another 50,000 miles but know it doesn't exist right now.

I also drive a lot. I’d love an extended warranty. Has anyone heard anything about one?

I expect this to happen because it is a massive and instant cash inflow opportunity for Tesla, with the related cash outflows occurring slowly over time (or perhaps never). I would be absolutely shocked if Tesla doesn't offer this sometime in 2019 as many of the Model 3s begin to get to and beyond the halfway mark of their existing warranty period. That said, I don't foresee Tesla extending the bumper-to-bumper since some items are simply wear items, unless they attach a per-claim deductible to an extended b-2-b warranty of $100 or $200.
