Warranty Mileage Increase?

I was browsing the inventory list and noticed they come with a 4 year 100k mile warranty

I have clicked on 5 different inventory models and all have the 4/100K warranty

Nope, those are inventory vehicles.

Why inventory and not custom new? I hope that if Tesla makes a change, they extend all active warranty cars to the 100k mile (I'm a high mileage driver, so I'd run out of miles before 4 years but 100k would push that back to 4 years of no big expenses (with a car I wanted to keep for a long time)). I would definitely still buy an extended service after the 4y/100k.

Does it only apply to new cars or does it extends older ones? I find myself driving the Model S way more and had put 25,000 km on it in the first 9 months.

Maybe they are not selling. After all, most of them have demo/loaner miles. Driven like a rental.

Maybe that’s cheaper than discounting them.

In the link I provided above, the S75D has 100km to it. That is new.

But they're correcting it, they've just went back to 80k on the two Model Xs and the S75D remains at 160k.

Just checked some model X’s
Some have the 4/50 some have 4/100

Just as a data point, the Australian change to 8 years only applies to new purchase...

... but they are offering an extended warranty for the same period, at a reduced cost, to existing owners.
