Hi all,

New to the forum and looking for my first Tesla.

I have two in my sights. Both are Model 3 Stealth Performance. Same color and equipment.

Car A has an expired B2B warranty, 65000 miles and is $47k.
Car B has an extended service plan for two more years, 55000 miles and is $52k.

Both have battery and drive unit coverage until mid 2027.

With the vehicle mileages I am looking at, is the $5k premium for the B2B coverage worth it?

Cheers
Brett

What do you expect a bumper to bumper warranty would cover that the drivetrain warranty would not in terms of things that may realistically break?

Then decide whether those things could potentially add up to $5K worth of repairs over 2 years.

Personally, I can’t think of anything that’s worth it. Drive units and battery would be my primary concerns and are covered under power train. YMMV.
