Washing Microfiber + hairpin

So I bought a fresh set of microfiber towels and after washing them I noticed there had been a stray hairpin loose in the drum...

This is probably a very strange question but I’m always super concerned about potential damage to the towels so I was wondering if this might have caused any harm to the towels’ fibers? I used a microfiber-friendly detergent and I have no clue how that and the towels would interact with a stray piece of metal while washing. Should I be worried?
