Washing my Model 3....in silence :(

I typically enjoy washing my car whilst playing music loud enough to hear it with closed windows, but...maybe I’m missing something here. No can do on the M3!

I’ve tried to keep the car on and play music, but with no weight on the driver’s seat it turns everything off.

I’ve tried using the Tesla app on iPhone to turn on car and control media. Again, no go.

If anyone has figured out this dilemma, I’d love to hear it!

I believe the upcoming software update with "party mode" will address this issue, or you could just always leave at least 1 door ajar.

Not a problem when you're water conscious and go with a rinseless or "waterless" method.

I have an Amazon Tap (battery operated, portable version of an echo. I’m not sure if they even make them any longer) in my garage for just such occasions.

Think they discontinued them. They’re great tho but didn’t sell enough of them. I had an opportunity to speak with the fellow who was responsible for its QA and he explained to me the challenges they were having with the device (mostly in recognizing Asian Female voices). I used to bring it with me when I traveled, but now being the echo spot instead (it doubles as a clock).

When I am doing a full wash with soap and hose, I use my Bose ear pods. When I am doing a quick washless clean with my spray on cleaners I leave one door slightly open and blast away.
