Having major disagreement w/ my wife for the foolish act of putting our car cover( out door ) in our homes washing machine and then in our dryer.....I figured if it is tough enough to handle the elements.... well...

I'd imagine it's not so dryer friendly but I'd pretty much wash anything on Delicate mode in my front load machine.

But that said, after seeing some alarming videos about the residue that can be left in your washing machine, I am thankful I have a 2nd top-load machine I'll be dedicating to Tesla washing (mostly for microfibre cloths).

I always washed the one for my Viper with Simple Green, per the California Car Cover company instructions (air dried it outside):

very much appreciated.... by the way.... it came out like new... put it in dryer for just 20 min then graced our conference room table w/ it for remainder of drying process... worked out great. thanks.
