Washing & Protecting Roof Window

I was looking through all the threads and I couldn't find the answer to my question.

I detailed my M3P Monday, and everything came out looking so good, except for the roof. Next day I had dust and dirt already accumulated. just on the roof window. What is the best way to prolong dirt & dust.

I didn't wax the windows, but is it safe to do so on this particular window? I know the side windows are fine to do so.

Would the steps be,

Rinse, 2 bucket method, rinse, glass cleaner, wax, rainx?

My recommendation would be Wash > Clay Bar > CarPro Reload. It works well on glass.

I personally like to clean my windows using Technicians Choice Ceramic Detail Spray. It cleans well, contains SiO2, and is very cost effective. You can buy a gallon of it for around $40 or $45.

I'm just wondering if any owners have wrapped the roof yet. It could be translucent yet still color tinted so as not to lose the airy effect from inside; some folks still prefer a roof that matches the paint of the car.

Chemical Guys Hybrid V7 Optical Select High Gloss Spray Sealant. Product is excellent for glass as well. I use this after every other wash, or as needed. I wax every 3 months or so.

Now if he'd wrap the handles, side camera (and Aero covers) in a matching pearl white, plus black wrap the chrome around the windows to make them look bigger, it might make for an interesting look without costing much...
