Washing vehicle

Anyone else have issues washing their vehicle and not being able to clean the windshield without being able to put the wipers in the up position. I mean come on. We need a wash mode that raises the whipers. kind of like the clean screen mode. I open the front trunk to clean it but that's a total PIA. I am sure this has been mentioned before.

Goto Controls, Settings, Service & Reset, Wipers, Service Mode.

There is one. You simply put the wipers in the maintenance mode and they come up a few inches so that you can clean underneath them and change the wiper blades when needed. It is covered in the owner's manual.

I agree completely. Half the time I don’t remember to put them in service mode until I go to wash the windshield (I start on the roof) and groan to myself.

I don't know. Maybe car has to be stationary. It works while I'm parked in my garage.

Update: Car has to be in Park!

By the time you get to that point your hands are probably wet too... LOL

You also need to have the wipers off, not in automatic mode.
