Wasted screen space in post formatting

    For those of us reading on mobile devices, screen space is at a premium.

    Example post:
    The new sound of performance: silence - Page 2

    The left image is a screenshot, while the right image has the areas of concerned colored red and blue.

    Red space is wasted. The blue shows corresponding whitespace that is
    clearly large enough that the 2nd red block of dead space is unnecessary.

    Why don't you just select "Mobile Style" in the bottom left corner of the homepage? The post you used as an example looks like this:


    No wasted space......

    To answer your direct question, that form omits a lot so I prefer normal web view. That said...

    Just reporting what looks like a bug and could be improved (hopefully easily) which is why I put it in site feedback with a boring title. ;)
