[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The quarter-mile record for a Tesla Model 3 was recently claimed by YouTuber JR Garage, crossing the line in 13.338 seconds.

The driver didn’t have world record ambitions and was simply hoping to the car would break 100 mph.

“13.330 seconds at 104.07 MPH. That is way quicker than I was expecting. The 0-60 time is also in the mid 4 second range!” the video’s description says.

The record was set during the Street Speed 717 YouTuber callout event, which included popular auto YouTubers racing a fleet of impressive cars. The event took place at Maryland’s Cecil County Dragway.
