Water in the trunk lid

Owners, I had dent repair specialist repaired my trunk lid on my Y to almost 95%. He had to pull the inside of the lower trunk lid out and accessed from inside also. Upon taken out the trunk cover he discovered that the top part of the inside was not painted, odd ,only a small top area. He also found water sitting inside at the bottom and he figured the painter forgot to remove the 2 rubber inserts from the bottom of the trunk lid located on each corners. So please check your trunk lid and remove those 2 tiny rubber tips. He believed they were there when the trunk was submerged during rust /paint coating and should be removed once its dry.

Could you a pic of those 2 rubber insert and also show the location?

Pics would help. I posted a few in another thread of rust forming on the spot welds around the top of the trunk opening earlier this year so I'm interested in learning about other areas to watch for.
