Water Repair Checklist?

So this was sitting on the dashboard of my Model 3. Took a picture of it on the Tesla lot.

Was told of a delivery delay pertaining to some “minor cosmetic” issues. Delivery specialist says paint chip on trunk and it needs to go to body shop.

But this water repair checklist has got me nervous. Delivery guy say it was left there from factory and every car goes through checklist. I hope he knows what he is talking about.

Looks like they might be testing for water leaks. The "passed Water" is a good sign. I wouldn't worry too much. If it said "Fail", it would be a different story.

Normally, passing water isn't necessarily a good thing, depending on where you are...

How has your car been? Did you ever get any further info on this? This checklist is on my car, too.

Background: My 4/9-configured car was scheduled for delivery Saturday 5/19, but rescheduled supposedly due to needing to be partially repainted. A couple hours later they called me back and said it didn’t need it after all (???) but didn’t have time to detail it to keep the delivery, so it was rescheduled to Tuesday. I went to the delivery location Sat and took a look at the car and it has this same Water Repair checklist on the dash. It was partially obscured so I appreciate that you got a pic of the entire thing.

Looks like a standard checklist they run after the car goes through the water spray station. Everything indicates Pass, so I wouldn't worry.

It is normal for every vehicle to go through a water infiltration station. A technician rides inside the vehicle while lots of pressurized water is sprayed on from every angle. and has a bright light to inspect for any water getting inside. They often will be also checking areas for fit and finish as part of their Quality Control team.

Good thing they check for this. Lots of potential issues with sunroofs and drain hoses too.
