Weird. I've seen the map not show ones that are known to be in construction or development, but never have I heard of it dropping one that has actually been operational for a long time and was previously shown on the map. Maybe an error crept in when they updated the map for the new year? Is it still showing up on the car's navigation?

Del Lago resort and Casino is closed due to the current government restrictions. The problem is the superchargers are guarded by security personnel and I was told that no one is allowed on Casino property and I was to leave at once. I asked how would I get to the next supercharger and the response was "I don't know, we have turned all Tesla's away for the past five days".

Is this allowed under the supercharging agreements and should Tesla owners expect to be denied use of superchargers at the whim of the property owner.

My son was driving my Model 3 and had the same problem last Tuesday. He found a service road by the casino with an individual posted by the entrance. The person asked him if he wanted to go to the superchargers, and he replied, yes. The man allowed him to go down the service road to get to the superchargers.

I did the same and as I was getting out of my car two other vehicles pulled up. One gentleman approached me and identified himself as some sort security guard and that I had to leave he then went up to the person that let me in to the chargers and reprimanded him. I saved the video.

This was really annoying and first time I had an issue like this. Arrived at the closed gate and inaccessible charger with ~30 miles left on battery. On my way to Finger Lakes for vacation, I could have easily stopped at Syracuse which I passed if I knew it was closed.

If this is now closed for months, why is in car info still showing its operational. I was totally relying on that. And didn’t fathom need to google the state of Superchargers first.

I had to scramble and use ChargePoint in Geneva. Very annoying and almost cost me missing a winery visit ;)
