Putting things in the right perspective! When driving your Tesla, remember this IS NOT the promised FSD. What you have is fsdBETA. YOU ARE JUST TESTING SOFTWARE FOR TESLA at this time, hoping that Tesla will get it right at some point to deliver the Real FSD (rFSD). So, let’s be realistic. Less whining about fsdBETA. MORE PRESSURE ON TESLA TEAM TO KEEP UP THE EFFORT to deliver the rFSD before the lifespan of the car you bought is over.

Don’t worry. 12/31/2022 is when Elon said FSD will be completed. Time is ticking.
Have you heard the words “car salesman”? I guess that’s his version of “free speech”. Maybe his penance is dealing with twitter. Too bad we paid for it.
Nobody in the World has been able to produce a 100% FSD vehicle for all streets. Tesla has perhaps gotten the closest, but the closer they get the more perfection people are demanding. Elon believed that this was an obtainable goal. Constant setbacks and occasional restarts has made it a challenging goal. For many people, the current imperfect system still offers lots of value, and seems to be getting better all the time.
Most of us have also had wonderful goals and aspirations. For many, those are often not attained as well.

The only value I get is to override the bad speed limits and still have it do the auto steer. Wrong - way wrong on half the roads around here. No mechanism to fix it. I got took. It‘s a process, but I believe most of us who bought this steaming pile of software will get there too. We all make mistakes.

FTFY. Some people are willing to pay money and spend significant amounts of time and effort to partake in this endeavor. Others are willing to spend millions of dollars and countless hours training so they can fly into outer space. Some people risk their lives climbing sheer cliffs. Others risk their lives flying in wingsuits.
Heck, some deer will swim 6+ miles across the ocean between Woods Hole and Martha's Vineyard. None of these efforts help the survival of the individual but there is still a strong instinct to do them because they help the survival of the species.

Sure, don't worry. Elon promised full self drive coast to coast by the end of 2017. Then 2018. Then 2019.
