We have "Close All Doors"...How about "Open All Doors"?

I'm a newby, so maybe I just couldn't find a discussion about this.

We recently took friends to a restaurant. On the way back to the car, it started to rain. I had to open each door individually! Is there a secret handshake with the key fob that would open all doors...like there is to close them?

no. other than for looks, you wouldn't want each door to all open at the same time anyways (cept maybe the back two in a few instances). plus the trunk is in the mix. you want all 4 doors and the trunk to open when it's raining?

just press the buttons really fast and you could get them to around 4 seconds of each other.

Some MX's have butler mode where the drivers door opens upon approach. You can get both of the FWD's open with the FOB. That only leaves the passenger wet.

if you have butler mode, you can also double tap middle fob button to open the passenger side

until you accidentally activate it in your pocket while it's long pressed and you come back to all the doors and trunk open. mind you, the sensors don't pick up everything.

long single roof press is the summon prompt.

I think butler mode is a misnomer! It just opens your door as you approach. Now...if it would get me a beer...

Can you upgrade to butler mode? I have a 2017 model ex that don’t have it. Which models came without it?

I wish... I asked shortly after I got my 11/2016 X and they said no.. I'd pay good money for the butler mode.
