What's the point of the home page setting? I can't seem to find a way to get to the home page. Am I overlooking something??? I also did a search here, on the other forums, and Google. It's pretty pointless to search for terms such as "Web Browser" and "Home page."
I think if you hit the browser icon while its already open it goes home. At least that's how I remember it.
I just went out to the car to check, and you're right. Though, I also didn't see anywhere to set home page.
You set the home page from the Apps setting page. My DES pointed out that you could set a home page, but there was not yet a home page button.
The car really needs an upgraded web browser. It's one of the coolest things to show-off, but it's also the clunkiest feature (by far).
Yes, but how do you load the home page? I'm on 4.2 and set a home page in the settings, but can't figure out how to actually navigate there...
I just fooled around a little bit and confirm that tapping the browser icon only toggles full to half screen. I'm on 4.2 and the settings menu does have the home page setting, so I'm guessing the 4.3 "upgrade" for this is to gray out the browser icon so we're not fooled into thinking there's a home page.
I can't figure that out. That's why I started this thread. My last post was just responding to AnOutsider about the grayed-out settings icon being a possible 4.2/4.3 thing.
Does the browser go back to the home page after a reboot of the center stack, or does it remember the last page you were on?
The browser always goes back to the last page. I also cannot get back to the homepage, it is set to teslamotors.
