I wonder what it means for those of us waiting - pre-delivery and even pre-VIN. I was expecting actual range to be lower, but I wont sneeze at a $3k price reduction at delivery.

You'll get the lower price at the time of delivery. Contact your SA and he'll adjust the price.

Maybe it was a blessing in disguise when the car we were supposed to pick up on 6/30 got assigned to someone else, and we are still sitting here without a new VIN yet....

What was the price before? I compared my Performance Stealth price (with Inductions) to building a new order with PUP, and price comes out to be exactly the same. I originally ordered in March and changed to Stealth P when Inductions became available.

If I remember correctly Performance was 8k over LR price, and now it appears to be 10k more. I guess they dropped LR by 2k from the time I ordered. Very interesting.

3k less still won't convince me to take a white car with mismatched doors though. hahahah

Our current order which is LR AWD, Blue with black interior and tow hitch is $54,990. If you make the same exact car now it's $51,990 so 3K cheaper. Just emailed our SA, pretty sure we will get the updated price

Typical though. When I bought my current ice car I got one of the first ones in the country and paid sticker...a few months later they were taking 3-5k off and advertising lease deals.

I know that’s a little different bc msrp didn’t change...but same financial hit nonetheless.

Is sales advisor the same thing as delivery specialist? The only person I’ve ever been in contact with is a delivery specialist.

Why would we have to call a sales advisor? Shouldn’t Tesla just adjust our MVPA. Kind of glad I wait until June 29th to place our order. I wonder what other surprises they have up their sleeve, matte finish on console, finish the blackout look, heater steering wheel?

I can't figure out exactly what changed price since I don't have an MVPA, but it looks like if I rebuild my exact config (Performance, Red, Tow hitch) it's $1k cheaper today.

I don't have a VIN yet, so I guess I'll just wait to see if Tesla updates my MVPA since I arranged the financing through them and they calculated all the numbers to include how much I owe at delivery.

If you don't have a VIN yet and still have the edit design option like I do. I just went in and edited my design and I got FSD now for the same price as before without FSD

Yeah what happens if they change it back to a higher price before you get a VIN lol
