Figured it out.

My IP address has been blocked on the Tesla servers since I enabled two factor authentication.

I can log in if I activate VPN.

When I set up two factor auth. I did not log out and system glitch left me semi-logged-in, i.e. car would automatically show up without credentials entered, but any furhter click would bring up above message.

So logging out manually before leaving website fixes this.
