Somehow got in through tesla.com and reserved a little before 7:30. Now it shows a streaming video and the tesla twitter feed. I am unable to get into My Tesla though.. Constant Internal Server Error.

I can't get to the My Tesla section. Not sure yet. CC is showing a pending charge of $1000 to a Tesla Motors Deposit.

Edit - address on CC charge is same as the corporate headquarters. Legit.

If the email address address you used to reserve the 3 is associated with an already-owned Tesla, it should associate you as an owner and put your in the owner's queue.

It looks totally legit to me. The same form I filled out in the store this morning.
I looked at the page source and it has some funny stuff about having to use an @teslamotors.com email address if you are doing an employee order.

I was told that current owners would login to your My Tesla account and reserve there, but I also can't get into it (internal server error). Went ahead and reserved on the model3.tesla.com page.

Does anyone know if having a reservation for the Model X is enough to consider you an owner for the Model 3? I'm assuming as long as I take delivery before Model 3 begins production?

I was about 7:26pm. I was refreshing every few seconds and did a cut and paste macro from notepad. There is now way to know how they are tracking them and who will get what when though. If you’re not in CA and don’t order one fully loaded someone ordering next week could get his before you.

Now I just need to wait another hour and see if I'm the first to refund.
