Weird buzzing sound after updating to 2022.24.6 [Fixed in 2022.36.1]

Well this is fun. I had no issue with 2022.24 but got the glorious whining after upgrading to 2022.28. MX refresh 2022, March build.

2022.24.5 (up to that point) had no buzzing. 2022.24.8 and 2022.28.1 both do.

My car is 2 weeks old and has the same exact issue. Service appointment booked for Friday to address this and a broken side marker tab from delivery. Updated to 2022.28.1 today and it seems like it’s even louder

Hope you are wrong. I almost consider this a safety issue, as my wife is worried that the car will catch on fire and I don’t blame her. I have a long trip coming up and hoping this is fixed by then. People should start tweeting Elon over and over again.

Who knows if serious issue or not, since Tesla never says anything.

Weird. That’s not the case for most. Given that it affects some and not others I have less hope for speedy resolution, sadly.

I contacted Tesla service, they already knew about the issue and told it will be fixed in future software updates. They don’t have ETA though. They also mentioned they can’t roll back.
